HomeQuicks

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

HomeQuicks ("we," "us," or "our") runs the website at https://homequicks.com (the "Site"). Privacy policies tend to bury the point, so here it is up front, followed by the detail.

The short version

  • No accounts, no sign-ups — the only information you ever give us directly is an email if you choose to write one.
  • Standard server logs and aggregate analytics tell us which articles get read; nothing identifies you personally to us.
  • The Site currently serves no advertising.
  • Nobody's personal information gets sold. Ever.

The detail

Email you send us

Writing to our contact address gives us your email address and the message itself, which we keep as long as needed to handle the conversation, plus a reasonable period for our records, and then delete. Skip anything sensitive — describing the leak under your sink never requires your date of birth.

Server logs

Our hosting provider automatically logs the technical basics of every request — IP address, browser and user agent, referring page, timestamp. The logs serve pages, keep the Site secure, and help diagnose faults; they're retained for a limited period and are never used to build advertising profiles.

Analytics

Readership is measured with Google Analytics 4, loaded via Cloudflare Zaraz so the third-party script runs server-side rather than piling into your browser. It may set cookies and record IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, and general location. We only ever read the aggregate numbers — which fixes people actually needed — not individual visitors.

Advertising

HomeQuicks does not currently serve ads. If advertising is introduced later, it would be delivered by third-party partners that use cookies to serve and measure ads — personalized only with your consent where the law requires it — and this policy will be updated first, with the date above changed to match. Whenever you want it, personalized-ad opt-outs live at Google's Ads Settings and www.aboutads.info/choices.

Cookies

Beyond the strictly necessary cookies (security, spam prevention) and the analytics cookies described above, the Site sets nothing. Block or delete them in your browser whenever you like — every article works fine without them.

Service providers

Two companies process data on our behalf: Cloudflare, which hosts the Site, provides network security, and loads the analytics script through Zaraz (Cloudflare's privacy policy), and Google, which supplies the aggregate analytics (Google's privacy policy). Both are limited to providing their services to us — their own linked policies govern anything beyond that.

What we use information for

  • Replying to you.
  • Operating, maintaining, and securing the Site.
  • Detecting and stopping spam, abuse, fraud, and technical faults.
  • Meeting legal obligations where they apply.

Rights you may have

Depending on where you live — under the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws — you may be able to access, correct, delete, or restrict our use of personal information about you, and to object to certain processing. Send the request to the email address below; we'll answer as the applicable law requires.

Children under 13

The Site isn't aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If a child has sent us personal information, let us know and we'll delete it.

Processing outside your country

We operate from the United States, and our providers may process data there and elsewhere. Those countries' data-protection laws can differ from your own, and using the Site means accepting that your information may be processed in them.

Changes

This page is the record: any revision updates the "Last updated" date at the top, and material changes appear here before they take effect. Worth a glance if you haven't read it in a while.
